Tyler Baker has 23 receptions for over 250 yards and two touchdowns on the year, oh and a wolf. Yup a full blown, or maybe just a mixed, we don’t really know, wolf that lives in his apartment and apparently wreaks havoc among Bakers stuff.
Teammates used to call Baker ‘Wolfy,’ but I guess some of them have become a little weary of the dog because, well, because it’s a wolf. His roommate, Gunnar Eklund, has not made a statement on the dog, but I would assume if there was a problem with it the offensive lineman would have said something.
I can not find any law in the state of Washington that says you can not own a wolf or wolf hybrid dog, but I do know some states do have laws like that. I actually have a part-wolf, part-rottweiler dog and she gives me no problems. She went through the same stages all other dogs do, and learned commands pretty quick actually.
They can be very well-mannered dogs if you raise them right, but still can be dangerous. I have also been told that they take a while longer to raise than normal dogs, something I would assume a division one football player doesn’t have as much of.
