Do not troll Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall. He will respond and request a fight with you.
After a Detroit Lions fan tweeted at Marshall trolling him about the Bears’ woes and the Lions’ success this season, the wide receiver offered the fan cash to fight him.
The fan responded, asking Marshall for more money and the multi-millionaire obliged with one extra stipulation.
The fan ultimately agreed to the fight with a caveat, responding to Marshall with “win 3 more games this season and I’m in. 25k win or lose isn’t a bad bet.”
We’re going to go out and limb and suggest regardless of how the Bears play to end this season, a fight won’t happen between these two.
Still, this is just the latest proof that tweeting mean things at professional athletes (or anyone for that matter) isn’t advised.
