The Green Bay Packers came out tonight against the Philadelphia Eagles to make a statement, and they were able to do just that. They took control of the game early with a 17-0 first quarter, and haven’t looked back.
Eddie Lacy hasn’t had a huge season on the ground, but he has made up for that by becoming a much better receiver out of the backfield. He came through with another touchdown reception, this time from 32 yards out with a very rough final seven yards. There simply wasn’t anyone on the Eagles’ defense that was between him and the end zone that would be able to keep him from scoring that touchdown.
Take a look at the touchdown for yourself:
Needless to say, the Packers are going to be viewed as one of the most dangerous contenders in the NFC after their second straight blowout win. They beat the Chicago Bears 55-14 last week on Sunday Night Football, and have scored more than 50 points once again this evening. Aaron Rodgers has been playing exceptional football this year, and Lacy is beginning to figure out his role in the offense as well.
