Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers made it clear that their success hasn’t been easy in blowout wins over the last two weeks of the NFL season.

Aaron Rodgers has been playing at an absolutely phenomenal level over the last couple of weeks in particular, and has forced his name to the top of the list as far as the MVP conversation is concerned. He has led the Green Bay Packers to back-to-back 50-point performances in blowout wins against the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite the way Rodgers makes these wins and offensive onslaughts look easy, he made it very clear to the media that these performances are not easy in any way.

From JSOnline.com:

"“This is not easy. This is a tough job. A lot of preparation goes into it, a lot of guys working together. It takes all 11.”"

Rodgers let the fans and media in on a secret of how the Packers are able to put together these types of performances.

"“It’s about taking care of the football. We talk about that all the time with Alex (Van Pelt) and Mike (McCarthy) and Tom (Clements). If you take care of the football, you give your team a chance to win, so that’s what it’s all about. It’s about being efficient, being accurate, not throwing it to the other team and guys making plays for you. There’s a few a game that are 50-50 balls and it needs to be ours or nobody’s, and the guys do a good job of coming down with those.”"

No matter what the reasoning behind these big offensive performances are, the Packers have forced their way into the top of the NFL Power Rankings. They are viewed as legitimate Super Bowl contenders after the last two weeks, and have put the slow start to the season completely behind them. Rodgers has followed through and helped the Packers’ fan base relax after that rocky beginning to the year.

Green Bay has put together a complete team that plays well alongside of each other, and they have one of the best leaders in the game rallying them together. It has been obvious that Rodgers is sick of losing, and he has taken his game to a completely new level over the past couple of weeks to make sure that his team came away with wins.

It will be fun to watch this team moving forward to see if they can continue their dominance or if it falls off. This run in the second half of the season is a bit reminiscent to the 2010 Super Bowl season, but it’s still a bit too early to be talking about all of that. Rodgers is hungry for another title, and that desire is showing with his stellar play on the field.
