Store Puts RGIII And Kirk Cousins Jerseys On Clearance
By Cory Buck
A store in Maryland put the jerseys of Washington Redskins quarterbacks Robert Griffin III and Kirk Cousins on clearance.
Now is the time to buy on Robert Griffin III jerseys if you haven’t already. With the Washington Redskins once again swirling around the drain, the jerseys of Griffin and backup Kirk Cousins are losing value by the week. A Maryland store has even put those two jerseys on its clearance rack in response to the team’s dismal loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11.

The Kirk Cousins sale is understandable. After some clamoring for Cousins among the Washington faithful, the backup’s performance in RGIII’s absence was enough to show fans that Cousins is certainly not the answer.
It’s the Griffin jersey sale that really gives one pause and makes us wonder if the fan base has already given up on the quarterback for whom Washington gave up two additional first round picks and other draft picks.
If that’s the case, this could be a very disheartening month for fans, as well as a long, painful offseason.
Fortunately, it doesn’t appear that the team shares the same sentiment as the fans. In his second game back from injury, Griffin still showed decent accuracy, going 23-for-32 on the day. Unfortunately that came against the woeful Buccaneers, who stomped the Redskins 27-7. For now at least, the QBs will bear the brunt of the team’s failures.
If you’re still a believer in RGIII though, now might be the time to buy a jersey and show your support. At least that gesture will come cheaper than usual.
