Maybe that urban legend about birds and Boise State’s turf really is true after all.

It’s been said for years that sometimes birds get really confused at times and actually fly straight into the turf at Boise State, the famous blue surface, thinking that it’s a nice body of water for them to lounge in for a bit. Now, for the most part, this is really nothing more than a myth; a story told by the locals, so to speak.
However, do we now have video evidence that this myth may actually be true after all?
We might.
This picture from Google Maps that was found on Reddit clearly shows a goose, all by his lonesome, just chilling on the turf like it’s nothing at all.
That has got to be one confused bird.
Now, see, this really makes you think. It’s completely possible that it’s just a coincidence that the bird just happened to land in that particular spot. But seriously, come on, what are the odds of that. You can honestly see this little fella flying through the air, glancing down and believing that the turf is actually water.
Whatever the case may be, kudos to Google Maps for turning into Myth Busters all of a sudden.
