Inside the NBA is must-watch television for NBA fans. This is a must-watch parody video.

You know the crew. Charles Barkley says controversial stuff, Kenny Anderson tries to talk hoops whenever he can, Shaq may have had a lobotomy because all he can say is “Barbecue Chicken” and Ernie Johnson tries his darned best to keep things together. However, things always tend to digress to the point of no return (at least until a commercial break).

This parody video uploaded by YouTube user Sean Rohani (H/t Reddit) absolutely nails the essence of TNT’s Inside the NBA. What’s the essence smell like? Whiffs of uncontrollable unpredictability and barbecue sauce.

In the latest [mock] episode on Inside the NBA, Barkley is grumpy because Shaq can’t stop infusing his name into random words and Ernie can’t seem to complete a full sentence without getting interrupted by someone yelling an opinion in 140 characters or less.

That’s when Barkley lays into Shaq, who brushes off the criticism with a half-hearted, barely thought-out comeback that absolutely nails real life, TV Shaquille. Chuck makes fun of his movie “Shazam” and his rap albums. That launches the set into a rap battle that ends with Ernie putting his foot down, then dropping the mic.
