A section of Portland Trail Blazers fans had to think fast on Thursday night as the in-arena blimp came crashing on top of them.
When you are a fan taking in a game, you never know what to expect. However, the idea of a giant inflatable Ford SUV crashing onto you is something that you would almost never dream of.
Unfortunately for some Portland Trail Blazers fans on Thursday night, that became a reality.
During the team’s 88-82 win over the Indiana Pacers at the Moda Center at the Rose Quarter, the in-arena blimp fell onto the fans in Section 209 of the arena.

Luckily, no one was actually hurt in the blimp crash, but there was naturally some fun to be had on social media.
The situation could have been a lot worse, so let’s just hope that the Portland Trail Blazers and Pacers fans who were in Section 209 got some sort of voucher for the scare.
