Things are getting creepy and weird with the Indiana Pacers as the season is so boring that sniffing the jerseys of players on the bench has been deemed a good idea.

When you sit next behind the bench of an NBA team, the last thing you think of doing is leaning in and getting a nice whiff of some man stink off the jerseys of sweaty players sitting in front of you.
That was not the case on Saturday night for one Indiana Pacers fan who decided that the season for the Pacers has been dull and boring that smelling the team is better than watching them. That’s not a metaphor either, it’s a literal fact as one fan sitting behind the bench leaned in and grabbed a nose-full of Lavoy Allen’s jersey.
This is probably the creepiest thing that an NBA fan has ever done, and it’s something that probably shouldn’t be repeated ever again.
Plus, the Indiana Pacers and interacting with fans historically hasn’t gone so well, and smelling the players who aren’t asking for it probably won’t end well if it happens again. This seems to be an anomaly and one that we shall forget and never ever speak of again.
