Keith Olbermann is among those that has worked with Scott for many years and he paid tribute to his fallen friend on Monday.
Watch the tribute, which involves Olbermann reminiscing on old stories about Scott, below:
While all of us sports fans have loved Scott’s work, we’ve really been able to see how truly great of a guy he was with tributes like these.
Olbermann also posted Scott’s first ever broadcast on ESPN airwaves, which came on ESPN2 on October 1st, 1993, the day the network launched.
This was a really cool thing for Olbermann to do. Scott was a special talent and it’s awesome to see him during the early stages of his ESPN career.
Scott is a pioneer and is legacy will be felt long after his passing.
Here at FanSided our thoughts and prayers remain with Scott’s family during this difficult time.
