As John Elway stepped to the non-existent podium to address the departure of John Fox, he temporarily forgot the name of the former Denver Broncos head coach.
John Elway, General Manager and Executive Vice President of Football Operations of the Denver Broncos, addressed the media on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the departure of former head coach John Fox.

When Elway went to thank John Fox for his time with the team, he had a little “oh crap” moment and thanked himself for the team’s success.
The funniest part? He probably does believe he deserves all of the credit.
On a side note, can we get John Elway a new podium? He seems to be a little awkward standing up there and having something to lean on may ease his nerves just a little bit.
In the mean time, the man he “mutually parted ways with,” John Fox, will begin to look for a new head coaching gig. There have been rumors linking Fox to the Chicago Bears, but no official news or reports have surfaced.
As for the Broncos, they need to focus on bringing in a new head coach and figuring out what to do with the futures of Peyton Manning, Demaryius Thomas and Julius Thomas.
