Rory McIlroy hits first professional hole in one (Video)

The world’s no. 1 golfer Rory McIlroy hit his first hole in one on the professional circuit.
Rory McIlroy accomplished yet another impressive feat by hitting his first ever hole in one as a professional. It came during the second round of the 2015 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship on the 15th hole. Earlier the same day, Miguel Angel Jimenez aced the same hole.
On his shot, McIlory’s form was spot on and he watched as the ball landed in the hole. Then the crowd went wild as they celebrated his first hole in one.
The world’s No. 1 golfer is starting 2015 with a bang as he looks to add to his four majors.

It’s kind of ironic that it took him this long to shoot a hole in one. They are difficult to achieve, but he’s played on some of the biggest, toughest golf courses in the world and came away with victories. He’s made some tough shots over the years and there’s a reason he is the No. 1 golfer in the world.
This hole in one will not rank up there with his toughest shots, but it will be one of the most memorable shots. Golfers never forget where and when they shoot a hole in one and McIlroy is no different.
