The 2-point conversion after the Seattle Seahawks scored their second touchdown in 44 seconds went just the way it was drawn up … or not.

The Seattle Seahawks flipped the script in the NFC Championship late in the fourth quarter, getting up off the mat to take a 20-19 with two touchdowns in 44 seconds.

Wanting the 2-point conversion to push their lead over the Green Bay Packers to three points, the Seahawks had Russell Wilson roll to the right, looking for a receiver on that side of the field.

With no one there, Wilson went for Plan B—lob the ball in the air all the way to the other side of the field and hope something good happens.

It did.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has had a strong game on Sunday, but his play on the 2-point conversion simply cannot be explained.

The ball hung in the air seemingly long enough to prepare an eight-course meal for a crowd of 50.

But Clinton-Dix stayed behind tight end Luke Willson, who caught the ball and pivoted into the end zone to give Seattle a 22-19 lead.

The Packers recovered long enough to get a game-tying field goal from Mason Crosby—his fifth of the game, tying the championship game record set by Matt Bahr of the New York Giants in the 1990 NFC Championship.
