Future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady recently received a truthful description from his father of all people.

The legend that is New England Patriots quarterback, and future Hall of Famer Tom Brady is already cemented. Today though, Brady is looking to improve upon that legend as he has an opportunity to head to his sixth Super Bowl.

What makes the legend even more profound is the fact that he seemed so average coming out of Michigan.

Average in the sense that he actually split time with football and baseball prospect Drew Henson. Also average because of his stature and physical attributes which lead him to become a sixth-round draft pick in 2000.

His father, Tom Brady Sr., also agrees with the idea that his son seemed so average as a quarterback prospect.

During an NFL Network feature that aired Sunday morning, Senior had this to say about his son:

Tom was always “a pretty slow white guy,” Tom Sr. claims.

For everybody who’s watched Brady through these years, it’s most definitely an accurate assessment.

Brady’s father also claimed that he had “separation issues” because Tom decided to go to Michigan. Raised in Southern California, he wanted him to stay near home.

Even if you’re a fan of the New York Jets, respect is mandatory for Tom Brady’s drive, desire and leadership abilities which have always trumped his so-called average physical attributes.
