Super Bowl, Patriots v Seahawks, simulated in Tecmo Bowl
By Mike Dyce
Some people simulated the Super Bowl between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.
The conference championships wrapped up on Sunday, some in a shroud of controversy, but the Super Bowl match up has been set. The New England Patriots will pursue history as Tom Brady becomes the first quarterback in NFL history to play in six Super Bowls.
The Seattle Seahawks are trying to become back-to-back champions, the first time it would’ve occurred in the NFL since the Patriots did it in 2004 and 2005.
Unfortunately we have two weeks to wait and that will include a lot of talk and prediction. The folks at Grapey are ahead of the curve and have already simulated the Super Bowl, and you can expect to see a ton of simulations in the days ahead before the Super Bowl.
They simulated the bowl in the video game classic “Tecmo Bowl” and it is simply incredible. It brings up a bit of nostalgia watching it as well, for me remembering when I was actually somewhat decent of a video game player.
They even got the end zones adjusted to bear the Super Bowl numerals, which also is the logo at midfield. They changed the uniforms for the Seahawks to resemble that bright neon shade of green.
