Nick Young is recruiting players for the Lakers
The enigmatic Los Angeles Lakers’ forward wants to bring talent to the team next season
Nick Young has one of the best personalities and quotes the league can offer. It’s no surprise he is trying to use his charm and wit to bring in talented players to the Los Angeles Lakers going forward. The Lakers are struggling again this season at an abysmal 12-30 and are on their way to a top pick in the draft.

Young is confident in his ability to bring players into the legendary franchise and he isn’t afraid to say who he wants either.
“I told Goran Dragic on the court, ‘You might be my teammate next year.’ Young said to Marc Medina of the Daily News, “I’ll talk to Marc (Gasol.) Me and him are cool. Kevin Love. I’ll talk to him.”
Those are no doubt three big names that would move the needle forward in Los Angeles. Dragic has turned into a prolific guard in Phoenix, but with the gluttony of point guards on the roster and his impending free agent status he could look to move on elsewhere.
Marc Gasol is one of the best centers in the league and is a free agent, as well. He was once traded by the Lakers to Memphis for his brother Pau and perhaps another Gasol in the city of angels could be on tap. A large market would further increase the growing brand that is Marc Gasol.
Lastly, Kevin Love is a name that makes all the sense in the world for the Lakers.
Love played his college basketball at UCLA and his father, Stan, played for the Lakers franchise. Ever since Love came into the league, there has always been rumors linking him to the Lakers, and him finally coming home would make all the sense in the world.
Things haven’t gone as expected for Love in Cleveland this year and he has even been sitting on the bench at the end of games. In Los Angeles, Love would get to be the man in the city he loves. It makes too much sense.
Nick Young certainly has a plan and an infectious personality. Can he bring talent in to save a reeling Los Angeles franchise?
