When Sesame Street is trolling you, you’ve hit a new low, Patriots

The New England Patriots have taken a lot of verbal bashing throughout the course of this week over the deflated footballs controversy affectionately known as “Deflategate.” However, most of the criticisms have come from the national media, fans and some celebrities.

But, Sesame Street wouldn’t take the time out of their program that educates the children every morning to take a dig at the Patriots, would they?

Oh, they absolutely did.

Parents all over the internet were very quick to point out on Friday that their children were watching one of the more masterful troll jobs in quite some time while they were getting their Sesame Street fix.

Oh, Patriots, this is how you know you caused quite the stir. When Sesame Street goes out of its way to take a subtle jab at you, things have maybe hit rock bottom.

It’s one thing to get lambasted on ESPN, FOX Sports and other media outlets, but when a shot at you is sandwiched in between Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch, it’s time to reevaluate some things.
