Mike Krzyzewski records 1,000th career win: Twitter reaction

Twitter users were quick to congratulate Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski after he recorded his 1,000th career win on Sunday.

Duke improved to 17-2 on Sunday after fighting back from a double-digit deficit to topple St. Johns 77-68.

The victory marked a college basketball record 1,000 career wins for Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski, one of the most respected figures in the sport.

It’s awesome to see the outpouring of support for Coach K after all he’s done for college basketball.

In his 30-plus years as Duke coach, Krzyzewski has won four national championships, been to 11 final fours and posted a 78.8 winning percentage. He has also been named Coach of the Year three times.
