The New England Patriots had another unfriendly wake up call in the middle of the night. Another fire alarm went off in their hotel.

You wouldn’t think much about the fire alarm that went off a couple of nights ago on the New England Patriots. It happened in the middle of the night before Media Day, but we all probably would have forgotten about it by now.

Now it has happened again though. Again last night the fire alarm went off in the New England Patriots hotel room. Two false fire alarms have now happened in the Patriots hotel on 2 different nights.

It must be a coincidence…right? Twice in the past 3 nights the fire alarm has gone off on the Patriots in the middle of the night. Will we hear about a third or fourth time happening? Will it happen on the Saturday night before the big game?

It seems like someone is pulling off these shenanigans on the Patriots players. If it just happened once, we would all disregard it, but it has happened again. Someone doesn’t want the Patriots to get any good rest.

The Patriots have been dealing with accusations of deflating footballs throughout the past couple of weeks. Now they are dealing with a stupid fire alarm that keeps going off in the middle of the night. What other distractions do people want to throw at them before the game kicks off on Sunday night?

While the Patriots are dealing with the footballs and the fire alarms, the Seattle Seahawks have been dealing with fines. Marshawn Lynch has been the subject of the media. He was one of the top stories during the last Super Bowl for his unwillingness to talk to the media. He has been the topic of discussion again for his brief and repetitive answers that he has been giving to reporters. On Tuesday he answered every question with the quick comment of “I’m just here so I don’t get fined.” On Wednesday he assumed that everyone already knew why he was there, so that was his new answer.

We won’t be talking about deflated footballs or fire alarms in a few days. We won’t be dealing with the answers from Marshawn Lynch from media day. Hopefully we will be talking about an incredible Super Bowl game that was played by some incredible teams on Sunday night.

If another fire alarm does go off though, we better start checking those fire pulls for finger prints, because someone is doing their best to troll on the Patriots in the middle of the night.
