What does the Seattle Seahawks injury report look like ahead of Super Bowl 49 against the New England Patriots?

Russell Wilson is ready to lead his team into their second straight Super Bowl appearance and they are preparing for a very tough game against a talented New England Patriots team. Seattle hasn’t played up to their full potential for the majority of the season, but they have still found a way to reach their goal.

There is no denying the talent that the Seahawks have and they are still one of the best defenses in the NFL. New England has one of the more dangerous offenses in the league, which makes for a very intriguing matchup. Last season, the Seahawks completely shut the Denver Broncos down in route to a 43-8 victory.

Seattle’s injury report doesn’t look too bad just a few hours ahead of Super Bowl 49 and it doesn’t appear that they will be missing any of their key players. There have been rumblings all week-long that star cornerback Richard Sherman could miss the Super Bowl if the birth of his child happened to clash with the time of the game.

That being said, he isn’t likely to be forced out and Seattle should be at full health against the Patriots.

Probable – T Justin Britt (Knee), S Kam Chancellor (knee), RB Marshawn Lynch (back), CB Richard Sherman (elbow), G J.R. Sweezy (ankle), S Earl Thomas (shoulder).

As you can see, the Seahawks really don’t have much to worry about as far as injuries are concerned. They have a few different bruises and scratches, but nothing serious enough to force a player to miss the biggest game of the season.

New England doesn’t have a very serious injury listed on their Super Bowl injury report either, which sets an even playing field for both football teams.
