Marshawn Lynch hangs out with Snoop Dogg

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was photographed a day after the Super Bowl, hanging out with rapper Snoop Dogg.

If there’s one guy Marshawn Lynch needed to hang with after his team’s devastating Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots, it was Snoop to the D-O-Double G. The mellowing effect of the fellow Californian and legendary rapper can hardly be understated after Lynch had to watch as his team shied from the Beast and threw a game-losing interception as a result.

The mind boggles wondering what these two could have been discussing just one day after the Super Bowl. Based on the rest of Snoop’s Instagram, that much seems pretty clear.

It seems that Snoop agrees with the rest of America in that he wanted the Seattle Seahawks to run the ball from the New England 1-yard line with less than 30 seconds to go in the game.

There’s this post, and this one, among others to be found on Snoop’s Instagram.

So it seems that Snoop is taking this loss as hard as the Beast, but let’s all keep in mind that this isn’t Snoop’s first foray into touting a big name team’s jersey. After all, there is a bit which tracked all his jersey swaps.

Fortunately, Snoop posted it to his Instagram and challenged those who called him a bandwagon fan, which created great entertainment and some NSFW language.

The funny thing here is that Snoop claims he wears the different jerseys of guys who played in his neighborhood, which makes us wonder what neighborhood Tom Brady hails from that has Snoop so jazzed up to rock a #12 Pats jersey? We know it’s California, but was it Snoop’s California and did he actually even know who Tom Brady was while Brady played in high school? Hmmm.

Marshawn Lynch meanwhile has largely remained mum on the Super Bowl controversy to the surprise of precisely no one. It’s fair to assume he shared a few words with the Dogg on the matter, but we hardly have the time to navigate the smoky channels necessary to transcribe what had to be one of the most riveting conversations to take place on the Monday after Super Bowl XLIX.
