Iowa’s Adam Woodbury eye gouges again (Video)
The Iowa Hawkeyes center went for the finger poke of doom once again
It’s only fitting Adam Woodbury plays for a team that has the word “eyes” in it. After some controversy recently where Woodbury poked Wisconsin’s Frank Kaminsky right in the eyes, Woodbury was called gutless by ESPN’s Dan Dakich, which led to a feud between him and Iowa coach Fran McCaffrey.

Now it appears that Woodbury is on the attack again.
As Maryland star guard Melo Trimble was driving to the hoop, it appears he got a nice classic wrestling eye rake from Woodbury.
Melo grabbed his face immediately and looked to be in pain. Whether it was intentional or not is up for debate.
After the events that unfolded the first time, Woodbury’s play was called into question; his play Sunday, whether intentional or not, will be called into question.
One offense can always can be played off, but if it starts becoming a frequent occurrence, then people begin to take notice.
Whether this leads to Dakich and McCaffrey going at it again, remains to be seen. No matter which way you spin it, this doesn’t look good for Iowa or Woodbury.
Captain Insano shows no mercy.
