Amar’e Stoudemire is leaving the New York Knicks after requesting a buyout of his contract but leaves the city on good terms and even wrote a heartfelt poem to say goodbye.
The massive contract the Knicks handed Amar’e Stoudemire when he was a free agent a few years ago didn’t work out as the former All-Star power forward with the Phoenix Suns wasn’t the same explosive player he was with the Suns.
