The resemblance is uncanny

DISCLAIMER: If you haven’t seen or read George R.R. Martin’s Game of Thrones series, 1) go fix that; 2) this will all be gibberish to you.

A new photo tweeted by Gillette Stadium’s official account reveals a striking resemblance between the Patriots’ home and the Wall from the Game of Thrones series.

Winter is coming, etc., etc.

It makes sense that it would be the Patriots’ stadium that underwent this transformation (which is hopefully permanent, but definitely isn’t because, you know, science and weather and all that stuff), because only true Patriots give their lives to defending the Wall.

No word yet on whether the Patriots have signed Jon Snow.

So does this make Bill Belichick the Old Bear? Tom Brady can’t be Jon Snow, he’s not likable enough or enough of an outcast. Danny Amendola is Sean Bean’s Ned Stark, because Amendola always gets hurt and Sean Bean’s characters always die. Vince Wilfork is the Mountain, because come on.

This would make the Colts the wildlings, and the Seahawks the Others. And I guess Robert Kraft is King Robert? Sorry, Robert Kraft. All I can say is watch out for Cersei.
