The Big Ticket comes up big with 1,000 free tickets to the great fans of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kevin Garnett has had nothing but love from all the Minnesota fans ever since he made his return, and he is making a great gesture to show them how much he appreciates it.

Garnett has bought 1,000 tickets for Monday’s home game against the Los Angeles Clippers to give to the fans for free.

How is Garnett making sure these tickets get into the right hands? Starting at nine a.m. on Monday, the first 500 fans to claim tickets here will get into the Clippers-Wolves game on The Big Ticket’s dime. Fans will then have to pick up their free tickets outside the Timberwolves executive offices later that evening before the game.

The Timberwolves released a statement from Garnett earlier this morning.

"“The response and support I’ve received from Wolves fans since my return to Minnesota has been nothing short of amazing. It’s been unbelievable,” Garnett said. “As a gesture of thanks, I would like to treat some fans to Monday night’s game against the Clippers. Love you all, and thanks for the love. Enjoy the game on me.”"

Garnett was able to come home to Minnesota a little less than two weeks ago in a deal right at the trade deadline.

His first game back with the team was Wednesday in a 20-point blowout over the Washington Wizards. Garnett played 19 minutes and finished with five points (29 percent shooting), eight rebounds and two blocks.

Garnett sat out the next game that (that was on the road), but played again for his home fans in a four-point loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Garnett only played 15 minutes in that one and finished with six points (75 percent shooting), three rebounds and three steals.

The return to Minnesota has been a dream, and it doesn’t look like anyone will be waking up from it anytime soon.
