Tiger Woods’ slow start has everybody talking about him, including rock stars and fellow professional golfers.
In the latest version of, “Let’s all talk about Tiger Woods because why not?” professional golfer Rickie Fowler talked about how he wants to help Tiger through his struggles, and even rockstar Kid Rock offered some interesting advice to the world’s greatest golfer.

Rickie Fowler is one of the young, up-and-coming superstars in the game of golf and is known for his rebel attitude and his interesting life outside of golf. He recently moved to Jupiter, Florida where Tiger lives and told GolfWeek this week that he was hoping to play a money game with Tiger Woods at Medalist Golf Club.
“Hopefully, I’ll be able to catch up with him, maybe add Medalist, see if I can get in his wallet or something, help get him ready,” Fowler said. “It’s fun to practice around him and play every once in a while. We definitely want to get him back. We want to get him back playing well and being healthy. He’s great for the game. We wouldn’t be in the position we are now with the title sponsors and the people involved in the game without him.”
Tiger played in two PGA Tour events so far this season and he missed the cut in Phoenix and then withdrew from the Farmers Insurance Open with back pain. He took a leave of absence from golf until his game was tournament ready. He chose to skip the Honda Classic this week, which means he won’t play in the WGC Cadillac Championship in two week either.
While there are many guys like Fowler who are offering help and advice to Woods, there are plenty of people criticizing his slow start to the season after his season-ending back surgery last season. Rockstar Kid Rock has stepped up to offer Tiger some advice to just ignore the haters in his Rolling Stone feature. Rock has visited Tiger’s home in Florida and played golf with him as the rockstar gets more into the game.
“Nice kid,” Rock says. “A little bit of an Eminem and Axl Rose syndrome. Very reclusive, literal, and sometimes you feel a little bad for them. Sometimes they think the world’s against them. You gotta loosen up, man! People are gonna talk sh**. You just gotta enjoy it!”
There you have it. Hopefully Tiger will return later this month and get everyone to just shut up and get back to the player that he truly is.
