Jay Briscoe was able to retain his title on Sunday night at the Ring of Honor 13th Anniversary show and he was immediately greeted by Samoa Joe

The Ring of Honor 13th Anniversary show was on Sunday night and the main event was a High Stakes Four Corners Survival match for the world title, featuring the champion Jay Briscoe facing off against Hanson, Michael Elgin and Tommaso Ciampa.

The action was really all over the place in this one, with referee Todd Sinclair being knocked out of the match for a good portion of the end. He was knocked to the floor, and because of that, a few of the competitors lost out on their chance to take the title away from Briscoe.

Eventually, with a little bit of luck, Briscoe was able to fall into a cover of Ciampa and retain his title, even with so many odds stacked against him.

Jay Briscoe was victorious in his quest to keep his belt, however his joy would be short-lived, as he quickly came face-to-face with the man that wants to take that belt away from him.

Right before the match got underway, Samoa Joe made his return to Ring of Honor and he made it very clear that he wants the title back.

As soon as the bout was over, Joe came out to drive that point home a little more.

Overall, a nice job by ROH with this entire show.
