Former WWE superstar CM Punk will walk to the cage with Anthony Pettis at UFC 185 in Dallas, Texas.

Not so long ago it was announced that former WWE champion and superstar CM Punk would be making the jump to mixed martial arts and competing in the UFC. It looks like his next appearance at a UFC event is coming sooner then any announcement of his first fight, or who it would be against.

CM Punk is training at Roufusport alongside UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, who is defending his title at UFC 185 in Dallas, Texas. When Pettis walks to the ring, he’ll have CM Punk by his side.

It makes sense that CM Punk would be there because why wouldn’t he be? He likely won’t be working in his corner, but walking to the ring and taking a seat ringside.

Punk isn’t a stranger to cage side seats, having sat next to Dana White at UFC 170 when Ronda Rousey defender her women’s bantamweight championship. That occurred during the beginning of his fallout with the WWE and fueled rumors of his future with the UFC.
