Apu from The Simpsons is going to pay a visit to SXSW in the form of a food truck.
D’oh!
Fans of the long-running animated series The Simpsons will have something to look forward to at this year’s SXSW festival. Producers of the show are providing festival goers with a little taste of Springfield in the form of a food truck run by everyone’s favorite bullet magnet of a convenience store owner, Apu Nahasapeemapetilon.

Though if the food truck is anything like its counterpart in Springfield, I’d probably stay way from the hot dogs. The truck will be providing free Squishees, though, as well as be the site of a demonstration for the Simpsons World app. The app will allow those subscribed to the FXNow app to access every single Simpsons episode ever.
Thank you, Jeebus!
After SXSW, it won’t be the end of the Kwik-E-Mart truck. Much like the Ribwich at Krusty Burger, fans will be able to follow the truck around as it travels to other cities in the country. According to a press release from the show, the food truck is to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Kwik-E-Mart’s debut in the episode The Telltale Head.
Be sure to keep your eye out for the truck, and also for Snake, unless you want to end up falling on a bullet yourself.
