DeMarco Murray removes all Cowboys references from his twitter account
By Ernie Padaon
DeMarco Murray has removed all the Dallas Cowboys references from his twitter account as free agency is set to begin.
DeMarco Murray was the best running back in the NFL last season. He ran the ball 392 times for 1845 yards and 13 touchdowns and was waiting for his big payday during the free agency period in the offseason. Instead, Murray has not heard from his current team the Dallas Cowboys in the last week. He is now set to become a free agent at 4pm ET and will be allowed to sign with any team in the league.

As he is prepping to hit free agency, he has gone onto his twitter account and removed any references of the Dallas Cowboys. He hasn’t sent out a tweet since February, but he did strip out his profile photos that had him in a Dallas Cowboys uniform. He is prepped to move on and will see what his value is in the open market. I don’t think he is too happy with the situation that is happening in Dallas at the moment and he will be looking to see what he can get in free agency from another roster.
The Cowboys may have been waiting to see what his value would be in the open market, but had not seen any negotiations made with him from other teams during the negotiation period. What is his market value? It looks like it will have to be determined by the other signings in free agency. This will be a fun game that the teams in the league will play. As Murray is waiting to see his market value, running backs will be taking potential jobs from him.
While Murray is looking for a new suitor, the Cowboys will still be on the hunt for a new back to add to the roster. If Murray wants to move on and get a big payday, then the Cowboys are going to find another back that can run behind their huge offensive line and pick up big chunks of yards. The offensive line in Dallas provides an attractive spot for running backs to head out to. If Murray doesn’t want to play in Dallas, then it will be someone else that gets to pick up the yards behind those big men.
