How much money will Floyd Mayweather make during the Manny Pacquiao fight? An exact amount is not known, but it will be nine figures.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is already a very rich man. However, following his blockbuster fight against Manny Pacquiao, he is going to be rolling in the dough even more than he ever has before.

While Mayweather Jr. would not disclose his exact purse for the May 2 fight against Pacquiao — which will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada — he did confirm on Wednesday that he will be making nine figures. NINE. FIGURES.

So, for a maximum of 12 rounds of work, Mayweather will be walking away with at least $100 million — and you know it will be more.

In recent fights, Mayweather has brought home $31 million and $40 million. The Pacquiao fight will be Mayweather’s biggest pay day to date — which comes as no surprise.

Previous reports have indicated the total purse for the fight could be as much as $250 million, with a 60-40 split. Of course, no official word has been passed along and there is a chance that the numbers could continue to grow as we get closer to the fight and the hype continues to build.

When it is all said and done, Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports believes the fight could bring in as much as $400 million.

That would be quite the reward for the most anticipated fight in boxing history.
