High school basketball players in Wisconsin showed some serious kindness recently when one of their classmates was being bullied

Unfortunately, a harsh realization about this world is the fact that bullying is about as prominent as it ever was, especially in schools across the country. It’s not something that we should have to deal with in the world, but unfortunately we have to. Well, recently, some high school basketball players had seen enough bullying, and it was enough to take them right off the court.

Three players from Kenosha, Wisconsin were in the middle of a basketball contest when they noticed one of the cheerleaders was being bullied. This particular cheerleader, Desiree Andrews, also happens to have down syndrome. Well, basketball game or not, they weren’t going to sit there and watch this all go down.

Miles Rodriguez, Scooter Terrien and Chase Vazquez were so disgusted by what they were seeing take place that they decided to do something about it, and the news story below will literally melt your heart.

Another unfortunate fact about bullying is that not a lot of people tend to do anything about it, but these three showed tremendous maturity and compassion for doing what they did. No one can argue that it’s always nice to see someone take a stand in a situation like this, and these three young men deserve all the credit in the world.

Once again, a reminder that there is good in this world, even with all the bad that surrounds it.
