PSV fans pay tribute to Andres Guardado before match (Video)

Prior to Saturday’s match at Philips Stadion, PSV fans paid tribute to Mexican midfielder Andres Guardado as they hope to see him return next season.
It is safe to say that the Dutch fans have embraced Mexican midfielder Andres Guardado, who has been a key player for PSV Eindhoven throught this season. PSV currently sits 11 points clear of the competition atop the Dutch League (Eredivisie).
Prior to Sunday’s match against Groningen, the PSV fans showed their support for Andres Guardado by tricolor tifo with the colors from the Mexican flag.

Along with the Mexican flag tifo, there was a banner carrying a message directed at Guardado from the crowd.

“Andres Guardado, our golden Mexican eagle. He has to stay in PSV. Our house is your house, Andres,” the banner read.
Guardado played the full 90 minutes on Sunday as PSV went on to win, 2-1. The fans clearly want him to remain in the Netherlands.
PSV leads Ajax by 11-points in the league table.
