The two-time national champion makes a hammock out of his nets and well, you get it. It’s a nice piece for the man who recently starred in the ESPN documentary titled I Hate Christian Laettner. As usual, the filmmakers did a wonderful job capturing not only the audience’s point of view in seeing one of the NCAA’s most notorious villains, but also Laettner’s point of view.
By the end of this latest documentary, you’ll have relished some great old memories, love or hate them, and you’ll have gained a greater perspective into the man behind the persona.
Laettner and the Duke Blue Devils won a pair of national titles in the early 1990s to cement their legacy as one of the most successful college basketball teams ever. Now with the tournament set to return once again, expect to hear and see more from Laettner in broadcast coverage.
