Arnold Schwarzenegger cheers on world record dead lift
By Cory Buck
Eddie Hall broke the world record for a dead lift and Arnold Schwarzenegger was on hand to cheer him on.
Eddie Hall is a tough dude. So tough that he just broke the world record for the heaviest dead lift ever. He toted 1,018 pounds straight up for the record, but that wasn’t even the highlight of his day. That much probably had more to do with the man cheering him on as he did it.

How do you not just crush your back doing that? Training, that’s how. Also the Arnold Effect. Can you imagine anything pumping you up more than Arnold standing at your side, wildly cheering you on? I could probably lift, like, a hundred pounds with him in my ear.
Eddie Hall, on the other hand, can top a thousand with that kind of motivation. Even the bar itself, which looked like it was ready to give, found a little something extra in order to get the job done. He seemed as pumped as the rest of us about the whole thing.
At this point, Eddie Hall is becoming a legend in his own right. Known as The Beast, Hall actually beat Arnold’s personal dead lift record by over three hundred pounds. Who is your daddy and what does he do now, Arnold?
