Reggie Miller was so impressed by Stanley Johnson’s huge dunk that he compared the Arizona forward to Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James.

Arizona forward Stanley Johnson had a big day on Thursday, posting 22 points and five rebounds in helping the Wildcats come away with a 93-72 win over Texas Southern in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Two of Johnson’s points came via a sick dunk with 3:32 left in the game’s first half, a dunk so good that TNT commentator Reggie Miller compared the ‘Zona forward to LeBron James following it.

It was no doubt an impressive dunk from Johnson and he’s certainly one of the top players in college basketball; however, the comparison of him to LeBron seems a little ridiculous.

James is a generational athlete, a player so physically gifted that he was given the cover of Sports Illustrated while he was still in high school. He’s also one of the best players the game has ever seen. Johnson, while athletic and talented, isn’t on that incredible level.

Johnson averaged 14.1 points (45.0 percent shooting from the field, 36.6 percent shooting from three), 6.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.

DraftExpress projects Johnson to be the No. 5 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
