Bruce Arians drops hilarious quote on Vikings running back Adrian Peterson
The Arizona Cardinals head coach made sure to let everyone know that he wasn’t going to be fined for talking about Adrian Peterson.
When it comes to giving a good quote, not too many coaches can give a better one than Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians. With the owner’s meetings in Phoenix, head coaches held their annual breakfast with reporters.

Today’ the coaches of the NFC had breakfast with reporters. Yesterday, the coaches of the AFC held serve with the media.
With the Cardinals having been linked to Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson since they passed on him in the draft in 2007, Arians was quick to let everyone know that he can’t talk about players not on his team.
The line he gave to reporters from the local and national level was hilarious too.

Arians made the smart decision that most coaches would make. With the heavy fines that tampering bring, talking about a player on another team is not worth the price that fines bring, no matter how hard reporters try to get answers out of coaches.
The Adrian Peterson drama with the Vikings continues to drag on. The Vikings recently said they weren’t going to cut Peterson, which makes sense considering the Vikings don’t want to lose an all-time talent for nothing.
Peterson’s agent recently came out and said that he doesn’t believe it’s in his clients best interests to continue playing for the Vikings.
The Cardinals are one of a few teams who have been linked to Peterson with their need for a running back. However, it remains to be seen if Arizona will give Minnesota the offer they want for Peterson, let alone absorb the massive contract that Peterson brings.
The Cardinals may be linked to Adrian Peterson, just don’t expect Bruce Arians to talk about it.
