Toronto’s DeMar DeRozan passes to Joakim Noah on bench
During the Bulls trip to Toronto to take on the Raptors, Joakim Noah caused a turnover while he was sitting on the bench.
Joakim Noah isn’t a stranger to getting in the opponent’s head. And not just on the court, but off it as well. As Toronto Raptor guard, DeMar DeRozen drove in the lane, only to get stopped by a cloud of Chicago Bulls defenders, he found the only person wearing his Raptor’s white color that he could find. Except that it happened to be Joakim Noah on the sideline wearing his shooting shirt.
After the turnover caused by Noah he gave a confused look to DeRozen before bouncing the ball back on the court. He cheered with his teammates and slapped hands with Bulls’ guard, Mike Dunleavy. He even got a smile out of injured Derrick Rose at the end of the bench.
Noah loves playing games with his opponents. Perhaps the most famous of which was in the 2013 playoffs as the Bulls faced off against the Miami Heat. A conflict surfaced between Chris Bosh and Mario Chalmers under the basket, and Noah absolutely loved it. He started clapping and cheering right in the Heat player’s face.
The Heat went on to win the series but the point was made. Joakim Noah is a complete troll on the court. And sometimes even when he’s on the bench. A heck of a strategy for the Bulls center. Trying to find ways to win even when you are not in the game is extremely creative. Props to Joakim.
