The Argentina national squad and Lionel Messi enjoyed a little downtime during their stay in America
Argentina are in the United States to play El Salvador and Ecuador in international friendlies over the next seven days. Though they’ve been training every day for their first game on Friday, it appears that they managed to squeeze in some American culture in their opening few days in the country.

It seems as though this picture was taken right about the time Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano saw themselves on the jumbo screen. It would appear that even superstars of world soccer get a little excited when caught by surprise on the big screen.
\They certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves while watching the Wizards take on the Pacers in the NBA. The Pacers came out with a narrow victory in the end, winning the game 103-101. It’s the fourth straight loss for the Wizards who have recently lost the Clippers, Kings and Warriors.
Not ideal reading if you’re a Washington fan. They did however upload a picture of Messi with a jersey after the game, I wonder if the entire team were given the VIP treatment or just possibly the greatest player of all time.
