Kentucky’s perfect season cam crashing to an end in the Final Four, but it’s what Andrew Harrison said after the game that has everyone still talking.

While the Kentucky Wildcats perfect season may be over, the team is being talked about for a different reason the morning after their collapse in the Final Four.

Kentucky finishes the season 38-1, but Andrew Harrison’s extremely poor choice of words next to a hot mic are why we’re all talking about the Wildcats on Sunday. People are forgetting that Wisconsin and Duke are set to play for the National Championship in less than 48 hours, and Harrison’s use of a racial slur directed at Frank Kaminsky is one of the hottest talking points of the day.

If you missed it, after the Final Four loss, Harrison’s hot mic picked up him saying ‘F**k the n****’ about Wisconsin’s center.

After the video went viral, Andrew Harrison took to Twitter to apologize for what he said.

It was more than just an unfortunate choice of words, as the little incident is going to stoke coals across the political spectrum just like any other time the n-word is used.

To complicate matters, it was directed at a white guy, which will seemingly invite mouth breathers to drag their knuckles across this issue like they know what they’re talking about.

Andrew Harrison hit it right on the head — it was a poor choice of words and he’s sorry. That doesn’t change the fact that it happened, but it’s going to be turned into a huge deal that might overshadow a weekend of basketball that featured more than a few thrilling moments of unity.
