Yeah we know, you all hate my man Drake because he’s a bandwagon fan who always seems to love whoever is on top. He’s a big LeBron guy so he likes the Cavs and the Heat when James was there. He also love the Ohio State Buckeyes, which makes me cringe. He’s from Toronto and he’s the global ambassador for his Toronto Raptors. Another team Drake loves is the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team.
This was noted when Drake participated in Kentucky’s Big Blue Madness and he suited up and then had this treacherous air ball during shooting lines.
Well, you can hate Drake all you want for being a fake fan, but he put some (a small amount for him) money down on the game with fellow rapper and Wisconsin fan The Game before Saturday’s matchup between undefeated Kentucky and Wisconsin in the Final Four. In the end, Drake gave up $6,000 to The Game.
The Game and Drake are neighbors in Calabasas, CA and seemed to enjoy a good night watching the game between their favorite teams with each other.
The Game later posted a picture of him in Drake’s in-home studio, maybe their new-found friendship will lead to some collaborations on some songs in the future? The Drake and The Game haven’t collaborated on a song since 2011’s Good Girls Go Bad.
Wisconsin defeated Kentucky 71-64 last night, derailing their perfect season after 38 straight wins. Wisconsin will move on to play Duke in the national championship Monday night.
