Dirk Nowitzki rides on a carousel like a little kid (video)
By Andrew Ross
Dirk Nowitzki is ancient in basketball years, but he still has the spirits of a young child.
It is really, really, really hard not to love Dirk Nowitzki.
Have you ever wanted to see one of the game’s greats like Nowitzki riding around on a carousel? Well, thanks to social media and Chandler Parsons, that is now possible.
It’s great to see the pure joy that was coming from Nowitzki. He was just a normal 36-year-old having some fun.

Nowitzki needs to find some enjoyment off the court, because his team hasn’t been doing that good lately. The Dallas Mavericks are only 2-6 in their last eight games, and that span has really hurt their playoff seeding. They are currently the 7-seed of the Western conference playoffs with a 46-31 record.
The teams in the middle of the Western Conference playoff picture are all jockeying for position. With all those teams still fighting for their seeding, the Mavericks really don’t know who they will be facing in the playoffs – and they probably won’t know until the last day of the regular season.
Nowitzki isn’t having an unbelievable year in his 17th season, but he is having a very good showing for someone of his experience: 17.2 points (46 percent shooting) and six rebounds per game.
Good luck to the Mavericks and Nowitzki for the rest of the season. It seems like the team is in a good place emotionally.
