Premier League stadiums gets Game of Thrones treatment (Video)
By Kris Whelan
Premier League stadiums have been given an intense Game of Thrones introduction video.
If there was two things that needed to cross over, its soccer and Game of Thrones. Both are extremely popular and are loaded to the brim with drama and excitement with each ‘episode’.

With Game of Thrones season five coming out this Sunday, a lot of people around the world couldn’t be more excited. Couple this with the drama that the Premier League brandishes out on a weekly basis, and you have a pairing that needed to be made.
Some clever people decided to give some of the Premier League stadiums the Game of Thrones treatment by creating a video that shows them being assembled and ready for battle! In addition to the fantastic graphics that mirror the Game of Thrones intro, it uses the same music which is surprisingly appropriate for a big soccer game in my opinion.
I won’t be too upset if they start playing the intro music from Game of Thrones before every soccer game, but I think we can all agree that it will never be able to surpass the Champions League theme song.
Here’s a look at the very clever and entertaining video!
