In the lead up to end of year exams all over the world, one Premier League fan somehow convinced his girlfriend to take an ‘Arsenal Exam’

An Arsenal fan has took it upon himself to make sure he and his significant other were in fact compatible for one another. ‘How does one do this?’, you might ask.

Simple, you force them to take an exam on your favorite football club.

It’s a dream most male soccer fans have had, but few have dared to actually execute. There are a few impressive thing about this charming modern romance. First, that she passed. Secondly, the effort in which the guy underwent to make the exam paper look official. “Answers must be filled out in black ink”. This kid wasn’t playing around, he needed to know if his girlfriend was a genuine fan.

Thankfully for the couple, his girlfriend passed with flying colors – 87%. It’s even more impressive when you actually look at the questions. There are some pretty tricky ones that she had to overcome, here are some of my favorites:

  1. What was the score in the 2014 FA Cup final?
  2. Why is Alexis Sanchez better than Eden Hazard?
  3. Who scored in the FA Cup final?

There were over 20 questions on the exam with 50 marks up for grabs. The girls reasoning behind the Alexis Sanchez v Eden Hazard debate were priceless and typical of a footballing fan.

  • ” Scores lots of goals”
  • “Hazard is a pr***”

Classic football banter! It’s great that he has a girlfriend who was willing to take such a scandalous exam and more than that, passed it with flying colors, adding a bit of humor at that. However it wasn’t all smiley stickers and well done comments on her exam, the examiner did have some constructive criticism for the pupil.

According to the examiner, his girlfriend must work on her knowledge of different playing positions and needs to come to fully understand the full brilliance of Alexis Sanchez. Despite the constructive criticism, her passing grade was enough to retain her position as his girlfriend.

"“Well done Saskia. As a result I will not be dumping you! (lucky you),” – Examiner"

It was a nice move from the girlfriend to actually take the exam, something a lot of girls might not have agreed to. But let us be clear, no girl should be required to take an exam to be anyone’s significant other.
