Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is the winner of the NBA MVP award this year and he’s already getting harassed from his teammates who want some gifts.

Stephen Curry won the NBA MVP award on Monday after he received 100 of a possible 130 first-place votes after leading the Golden State Warriors to the best record in the NBA and he’s already got his teammates asking for free stuff.

Curry had his award ceremony earlier on Monday when he fielded a question from his teammate, Draymond Green, who reminded Curry how Kobe Bryant gave his Los Angeles Lakers teammates watches after he won the MVP so Green is wondering when he should accept some sort of gift from the league’s MVP.

You can watch the interaction in the video below, courtesy of ESPN.com

He already gave them some new Playstation’s to buy him some time and he said he plans on upgrading the gift by the time their season ends, but he did say he’s not sure what kind of watches Kobe handed out to his Lakers teammates, but said he would beat that gift.

So there you have it, Curry is the MVP and gets some hardware to add to his growing legacy but I gotta be honest, his teammates are scoring big time here, just as they do on the court, with a brand new Playstation 4 and a watch that I can only imagine will cost more than most of the cars you and I are driving.

If it was me, I would have given them a firm handshake and an iTunes gift card.
