Joakim Noah took a jab at Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones at the Bulls-Cavs playoff game on Wednesday night and now the two are bitter enemies.

After taking a 1-0 series lead on the road, the Chicago Bulls felt a sense of confidence heading into Game 2 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Joakim Noah didn’t have his best contest in Game 1, scoring zero points and grabbing nine boards, but he still carried that confidence into Wednesday night’s game.
The Bulls ended up losing to the Cavs, evening up the series, but not before Noah dug himself a hole with Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Cardale Jones.
How could he do so at an NBA playoff game? As Jones was speaking to the crowd during a timeout in the heated contest, Noah appeared to mouth some words that didn’t sit well with young Cardale.
Apparently, Noah, a former Florida Gator, heard Jones talking about Ohio State football and bringing another title to Ohio State this year and mouthed something from the sideline.
Although he wasn’t made aware of this until after the game, he still took to Twitter to voice his opinion and show his dislike for the Bulls’ star.
While calling Noah a chump and threatening to “give hime these hands” while being “at Joakim’s neck” for the rest of the series probably wasn’t the best decision to do, he just wasn’t pleased at the Cleveland-hater’s comments.
This isn’t the first time Noah made some comments that made Ohio angry, however. Noah went as far as to say Cleveland sucks in an interview one time, even calling the city of LeBron “depressing” and saying that he wouldn’t go out, just stay in his hotel, when the Bulls travel to face the Cavs.
Add this to the list of things people in Cleveland get to hate Noah for. His comment was basically for none, though, as the Buckeyes beat the top SEC team to make it to the national championship last year, but maybe he missed that.
Oh yeah, and he could also be a little salty that his school’s former coach, Urban Meyer, now coaches Cardale after leaving Gainesville.
