Tom Brady’s agent is not happy about the suspension that the NFL handed his client, and he’s lashing out in the exact way we expected he would.

Tom Brady has been suspended for the first four games of the 2015 season, and it’s a ruling that his agent is less than pleased with. This isn’t much of a surprise, but it gives Don Yee another opportunity to yell at the world about how upset he is about this suspension.

How upset is he?

According to Tom Brady’s agent, the suspension that the NFL handed down is ‘ridiculous’ and it will be appealed.

Brady has three days to appeal the suspension, which is unlikely to get overturned and probably won’t get reduced. That being said, the NFL has adjusted suspensions in the past, and it’s not outside the realm of possibility that they NFL will decide to lower his suspension to two games.

Then again, the four game ban is reflective of Brady doing what the NFL believe is altering the competitiveness of the game and calling the integrity of the game into question.

"“The discipline is ridiculous and has no legitimate basis. In my opinion, this outcome was pre-determined; there was no fairness in the Wells investigation whatsoever. There is no evidence that Tom directed footballs be set at pressures below the allowable limits."

We can’t be all that surprised that Brady is appealing the suspension, but the question is will this all be a fruitless endeavor when all is said and done?

It’s akin to PED use, which is something that results in a four game suspension not unlike the same one that Brady received. That’s also why the reaction to this suspension has been so hot, as Brady’s agent knows what is at stake here in terms of his clients legacy in the NFL, and being branded a cheater is something he can’t allow to happen.
