Al Horford was controversially ejected from Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals for elbowing Matthew Dellavedova — and his sister was not happy.

Perhaps the most controversial play of the entire postseason came in the second quarter of Game 3 on Sunday night of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Atlanta Hawks, down two games and an equal amount of players, decided to get chippy and paid the ultimate price.

Al Horford was given a flagrant two for elbowing Matthew Dellavedova in the torso — but only because he missed Delly’s head.

Here’s a look at the foul that saw Horford ejected from a critical game in the series:

The Hawks and Al Horford didn’t agree with the ejection and neither did his sister, who went in hard on the NBA saying they should be ashamed.

This is a sentiment that is weirdly being shared by almost everyone in the world. Despite the fact that Matthew Dellavedova has no reputation for playing dirty, he’s being labeled as a chippy cheat as a result of the ejection.

It wasn’t Delly’s fault that Al Horford decided to cock back and fore an elbow at him that missed his head — narrowly. The Hawks are already a team without a superstar and they’re down both Kyle Korver and Al Horford in Game 3. Many are defending the Horford elbow as retaliation for Delly ‘taking out’ Kyle Korver in Game 2, but that’s a slippery slope no one wanted to go down, hence the ejection.

Just don’t try reasoning that with Al Horford’s sister.
