Houston Texans to be on ‘Hard Knocks’ for 2015
By Jack Crosby
The Houston Texans will be the NFL team followed this preseason by the Hard Knocks cameras
Each and every year as the NFL season approaches in the spring and summer months, people await to see which team will be chronicled on that season’s edition of Hard Knocks on HBO. This year, it will be the Houston Texans of the AFC South.
The team will announce the news later in the day on Wednesday.
Every season the HBO and Hard Knocks cameras follow around an NFL team for the duration of training camp, giving fans a glimpse into the lives of some of their favorite players and coaches, as well as players just trying to make the cut.
As for the choice of the Texans, this should end up being pretty entertaining. To start, we’ll get to watch the best defensive player in the NFL, defensive end J.J. Watt, get ready for what should be yet another dominating season as he creates his legacy for himself.
Then, we have the story of the comeback of outside linebacker, Jadeveon Clowney. The No. 1 overall pick from 2014, and one of the most hyped players of this generation, suffered a knee injury in the team’s opener last season and missed most of his rookie year. The HBO cameras will now be able to show us nearly every step of his comeback.
Finally, we have head coach Bill O’Brien, who most of the time is not at a loss for words when it comes to anything. O’Brien is one of the more intense and hands-on coaches in the league when he’s on the field, so getting to watch him work with his squad as they get prepared to make a run in the AFC South this coming season.
