According to reports, Fred Hoiberg will be named the next head coach of the Chicago Bulls.

After firing Tom Thibodeau, it appears the Bulls have locked in on their man.

As has been heavily speculated, the Chicago Bulls are expected to hire Iowa State head coach Fred Hoiberg to be the next head coach of the franchise, according to Howard Beck.

Thibodeau was released after the relationship between him and the front office went south and players reportedly threatened to not show up this summer if he was still around as coach.

With Hoiberg it appears the Bulls have finally found their man barring anything unseen.

"On Thursday, the Bulls fired Thibodeau, who still had two years and $9 million left on his contract. Barring any unforeseen snags, current Iowa State head coach Fred Hoiberg will be named the Bulls’ next coach, according to a source with ties to the team."

The coaching carousel in the NBA is nothing new as teams are often bringing in new coaches to take them over the top.

It happened in Golden State with the Warriors firing Mark Jackson and bringing in Steve Kerr, who led the team to the NBA Finals in his first season as coach.

With Hoiberg, the Bulls are looking for a coach who can improve the team offensively and take them to the NBA Finals, as the team has arguably one of the deepest rosters in the league.

It’s no secret the Bulls are great on defense, but they are in dire need of shooting and help on offense. With Hoiberg, they see a chance to improve on that and become a complete unit.

The Chicago Bulls have got their guy.
